The Equal Opportunity Officers listed here are responsible for receiving and processing complaints against offices, staff or vendors of Alaska's Workforce Investment System that allege discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, political affiliation or belief; and against any beneficiary of programs financially assisted under Title I of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (WIA), on the basis of the beneficiary’s citizenship/status as a lawfully admitted immigrant authorized to work in the United States, or his or her participation in any WIA Title I-financially assisted program or activity.

We can not accept complaints against other employers and entities who are not part of this system unless you were referred to them by our staff. The EO officers will direct you to the appropriate agency for such complaints.

Each local office has an Equal Opportunity Coordinator to coordinate EO matters in their area. These representatives report to the state EO Officer for complaint processing and assistance.
